Senior Business Consultant

The responsibilities of the position:

  • Understand existing customers' and prospects' business problems
  • Analyse and gather the customer requirements
  • Project Manage small/medium client implementation projects
  • Configure the solution to match the needs of the customer
  • Manage customer expectations
  • Communicate with the internal and external stakeholders
Interested individuals should have excellent judgment, as demonstrated by their professional experience, domain expertise and academic achievements. Ideally the candidate will also possess direct experience in the commercial lending and credit risk industry.
  • Previous banking experience in commercial lending (I.e. Business Analyst, Credit Analyst, Relationship Manager)
  • Business Process Re-engineering / Business Consulting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Finance, Accounting, Banking, Business or IT Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
  • Desire and ability to work closely with clients
  • High attention to detail
  • Highly self-motivated and ready to work in a challenging environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies
  • Team-oriented
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Ability to travel within Australia and overseas.
Highly desirable skills:
  • Technical know-how
  • Experience implementing software solutions
Preferable skills
  • Exposure to FIS's Ambit Optimist / Ambit Portfolio Strategist or similar application
