Transaction Banking Business Development Manager, Business Banking - Melbourne

We are searching for a successful, driven and passionate Business Developer to support our growth aspirations.

You will thrive on building new to bank opportunities and will have the drive to promote our transaction banking products to market and deliver exceptional client acquisition and retention.

The way we bank is changing and as a Business Development Manager with our Transaction Banking team you will be responsible for the delivery of quality, new to bank clients in our preferred transaction banking and payments markets.

About the role:

We request you have a sales driven, motivated and resilient approach teamed with a passion for both business development and the transaction banking sector, and in return we will commit to ensuring you exceed your personal goals to become the best in class.

You will bring your strong client focus to create and build positive relationships both externally and throughout the Bank. You will utilise your strong technical skills and understanding of transaction banking products to partner with clients and provide solutions for their business needs.

Your proactive approach will be essential to the development and negotiation of banking solutions for new and existing clients.

About you:

You will be a specialist client and business acquisition and expertise in transaction banking and leading payment solutions. In addition you will possess:
  • The ability to prospect for new clients, identifying opportunities and providing leads
  • Strong relationship management and business development skills
  • Experience in client facing banking solutions
  • Ability to proactively seek efficiencies both internally and for our clients
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills
