Our client is a prominent Financial Technology firm that is highly focused within the electronic marketplace. They have a strong reputation and client base of both buy-side and major sell-side corporations. Their offering and focus is very much around and towards the derivative/commodity markets.

Our client is looking to hire someone in Japan as a Regional Executive Sales Director to cover the Japanese markets. You will be responsible for driving revenue, by developing and managing new client relationships whilst maximizing transactional sales opportunities for their product suite in Australia.

This hire will mean you are the most senior person in the region but the main person responsible for driving revenue and winning business. The bulk of the role is to maximise sales opportunities, wherever and whenever possible within the region. You will also assist other regional executives and sales staff with cross-selling opportunities, as well as helping hiring and mentoring sales staff locally. Experience selling data solutions or software within the financial markets is a pre-requisite. Any experience within electronic trading markets or products is highly beneficial, any knowledge of understanding of derivatives, futures and options is much preferred. This is a very successful privately owned US business that has a clear opportunity for growth in the region.
