(Audit) Manager Data Analytics in an international, innovative and complex environment
As Audit Manager Data Analytics at Corporate Audit Services (CAS), you will play a leading role in leveraging on advanced data analytics, continuous auditing and/or other innovative techniques aimed at furthering our goal to be a best-in-class audit department. You will develop and implement an innovative, global data analytics approach and related models in close cooperation with the business and IT auditors within an international environment. You will inspire, support and train together with the team the different audit teams around the world to further implement and expand the usage of data analytics in the audit process. You will thereby contribute to identifying control weaknesses and report audit findings correctly and systematically in audit reports, including suggestions for improvement and concrete recommendations which you will present to ING Bank management.

Your work environment
As an Audit manager Data Analytics you will be based in Amsterdam and you will lead a dedicated, small but highly effective team of data analytics experts (2FTE). Besides this team you will lead and inspire the global CAS data analytics community, which is a further extension of the team across the globe. This innovative team is currently part of the IT Audit Division as part of CAS (Corporate Audit Services), which is a highly professional organisation with approximately 20 audit teams located across the globe. CAS comprises a diverse international team of around 403 members. As Audit Manager Data Analytics at CAS, you have an in-depth knowledge of data analytics techniques, such as data modelling, process mining, predictive analytics, data visualisations, data security and privacy. You are enthusiastic, inspired by innovation and have previous experience leading and developing an international team. You are capable of driving and implementing change. You have strong verbal and written communicative skills and interpersonal capabilities. Therefore, you know how to ask the right questions and get the right information, even if this means overcoming resistance. You are accurate, creative in your solutions and you describe yourself as a team player who is capable of working in international teams but also independently as and when the task at hand requires this. You are also keen on self-development. Furthermore, you have:

  • A bachelor or master degree, preferably in Auditing, Computer Science, Mathematics or another relevant field of studies
  • In-depth knowledge of data analytics techniques and experience with data analytic tooling and visualisations
  • Experience leading teams
  • An innovative-, creative- and explorative mind-set
  • Five to eight years' hands-on working experience within an audit or data oriented function, for instance, with another bank or within a larger audit or consultancy organisation
  • Experience with international and complex organisations
You are fluent in English, You have a basic understanding of Dutch (fluency in other languages is much appreciated) and you are willing to travel abroad (6-8 weeks per year), depending on assignments.
