An opportunity to join the infrastructure arm of a global pension fund worth over $200 billion as an Investment Analyst, helping the firm to achieve their ambitious capital deployment targets.

The Firm

The firm is the infrastructure arm of an established global pension fund, looking to build out their team in London. The platform is a leading player within diverse and critical global infrastructure networks, enabling the storage and movement of water, energy, freight, passengers and data, with capital well exceeding $10 billion. They are looking to add an Investment Analyst with a strong background in investment banking to their team.

The team has nearly a century’s worth of experience combined, operating with a high level of quality and a strong record of annual returns. With a strong reputation for catering for new employees, they invest world class training into the development of new recruits, leading to considerable opportunities for rapid promotion.

The Role

This is an opportunity to join a strong team in a rapidly expanding industry, with clear financial objectives connected to the role.

You will be assisting in the execution and appraisal of investment opportunities, providing reliable financial models working both with the team and in a more self-sufficient capacity. You will also be tasked with responsibility of asset management projects, reviewing current performance and helping to develop the potential of the firm’s projections.

The Candidate

The appropriate candidate will be fluent in an additional European language, as well as having at least 1 to 2 years’ experience doing M&A Advisory in one (or more) of the following areas:

  • Power, Utilities & Infrastructure
  • Renewables
  • Water
  • Gas, Electricity, Heating
  • Broadcasting Towers
  • Transportation
