Aventio MB is a technology focused M&A and fundraising advisory services firm located in London with a focus in Emerging Markets. Since January 2013, Aventio placed over US$250 mn in transaction value in emerging markets technology M&A and fundraising, ranking it the No. 3 Advisor in its target markets.
Aventio is currently seeking a dynamic Research Analyst, preferably with (minimum) 3 to 5 years of equity research experience in a bulge bracket investment bank with the enthusiasm and keen interest for technology businesses and their fast changing verticals such as, e-commerce, fintech, marketplace, mediatech, SaaS, gaming, IoT. The candidate must be able to conduct extensive research on current and past M&A transactions, be able to source/calculate/dig deep into comparable company analysis (both transactional and trading comps), follow key trends in these technology verticals, and demonstrate sophisticated business/finance writing skills.

The candidate will also be required to support the Aventio team of bankers located in London, Istanbul and Dubai in technology deal making across emerging markets. The candidate, depending on his/her ability, may also be able to participate, up to a certain level, in deal origination.
The position may require some travel to European and US tech conferences as well as some deal origination travel to Central Eastern Europe, Turkey, Russia, Middle East, and South Africa. The position is based in Mayfair, London and will have working hours of 9am to 6pm.
MBA or Masters in Finance will be strongly preferred. TMT equity research past experience will be preferred but not a must. English speakers, on a native level, will be prioritized.
