Shawbrook are looking to add a strong Regulatory Accountant to it's well established External Reporting Team based in our City office. The team is responsible for producing and submitting all regulatory reports to the Bank of England, PRA, FCA and EBA as well as ad-hoc reports to other bodies as required. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a strong regulatory accountant to join a well-established team at a time of continued growth across the bank.

The team is responsible for producing and submitting all regulatory reports to the Bank of England, PRA, FCA and EBA as well as ad-hoc reports to other bodies as required. Key responsibilities will include the following:

  • Preparation of statistical and supervisory returns to the BoE, PRA, FCA & EBA including Corep & Finrep.
  • Review & analysis of the returns to ensure timely and accurate production of reporting in line with reporting definitions.
  • Assist with implementation and automation of current and forthcoming regulatory returns.
  • Maintain and update regulatory reporting policies and procedures.
  • Assist with improving data extract in line with regulatory definitions.

Suitable candidates will have the following experience and knowledge.

  • Regulatory reporting experience from financial services, ideally banking.
  • Up to date knowledge of EBA/PRA/FCA policy statements.
  • Good technical ability to compile data using Excel, SQL and other regulatory reporting software.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and to be hands-on in the production of regulatory returns.
