Sr. Financial Systems Manager, FP&A
This position will report directly to the Director of Management Reporting & Analytics, and will lead the development, implementation and administration of the organizations financial planning system (Axiom EPM). The candidate will provide project management expertise and oversight for projects impacting our financial planning system and work closely with other members of the financial planning and analysis team and business line finance to ensure the system functionality meets their needs and as a strategic partner to map out and execute on future modifications and enhancement.

The financial systems manager will manage a small team as well as partner with members of the team in Bangalore India. The Ideal candidate will have strong project management skills (both as a leader and executor), a finance and/or finance systems background, and familiarity with setting up a sound internal controls structure. They are able to independently prioritize multiple tasks bringing projects and operational deliverables to completion. The candidate should be able to sustain productivity in a fast-paced environment, maintaining composure and focus under pressure, and display a strong work ethic, good judgment, initiative and attention to detail. In addition, the candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, a friendly, service-oriented attitude and the demonstrated capacity to improve efficiency and processes.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Lead multidimensional software implementation projects, including identification and collaboration with key stakeholders and upstream/downstream system owners.

  • Develop and/or maintain valuable internal client relationships (both within the broader Financial Planning and Analysis team and across the organization's business lines)

  • Collaborate with internal clients to understand and execute client perspectives, objectives and initiatives

  • Design and implement optimal processes and software configurations, with sound internal controls in place, to fulfill these goals

  • Configure system, validate software user-adoption, and oversee issue resolution.

  • Provide "internal client" advisory services to ensure best use of our software

  • Generate ideas for future software product enhancements and partner with software developer to execute on these ideas (as deemed feasible by the developer)

  • Generate ideas for future internal opportunities for efficient, scalable growth to ensure continued best use of our software to meet internal client needs.

Qualifications
  • 5 to 10 years of progressively responsible experience in a finance-related role with demonstrated success working with internal and/or external clients
  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Corporate Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • Hands-on finance technology experience in a corporate or consulting environment (Axiom EPM Software experience preferred).
  • Engagement in the development, management and execution of Strategic Initiatives
  • Ability to produce and deliver client-facing training materials, content and classroom sessions tailored as necessary
  • Scoping and building well defined and trackable Key Performance Indicators
  • Understanding of project management and systems development
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and attention to details
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines while providing quality results
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
