Learner’s Digest International (LDI) is a business within the Wolters Kluwer Health Division that provides continuing education products to support healthcare professionals across the globe.  LDI is comprised of our subscription, non-subscription, Courses & Sessions and Medical Society Support businesses.

We are searching for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team.

This position will ideally be based in Glendale, CA, but we can also consider candidates based in the U.S. to work remotely.

The Senior Financial Analyst will report to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and focus across all lines of business within LDI. The role will partner closely across the various teams including operations and marketing in analyzing these revenue streams. The Analyst will also work closely with HLRP Financial Planning & Analysis as a whole, and Division FP&A.

The Analyst must be a self-starter and work with limited direction while taking full ownership of their areas of responsibility.

Primary responsibilities will include:

• Business support for LDI business leadership
• Forecasting and Reporting full P&Ls, including revenues and costs across all lines of business
• Provide quantitative-based recommendations that support revenue growth targets
• Maintain and Improve the models for revenues, costs and on other items as needed
• Report Monthly both to local management (KPIs, P&Ls) and produce deliverables for HRLP and Division FP&A, including Variance Analysis
• Partner with the business to provide actionable items, including guidance for revenue opportunities and cost efficiencies
• Monitor and analyze results against budget, and forecast and provide insightful variance explanations
• Foster cross-functional relationships and assist in ad-hoc analyses, as well as other projects to support business needs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, or other quantitative field, MBA preferred
• 2+ years of experience in finance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and timeliness
• Experience in a dynamic Corporate Finance environment, preferably with tiered reporting
• Proficient in MS Office Suite with advanced knowledge of Excel
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills and the ability to think strategically

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Essbase or other Hyperion forecasting and reporting tools
• Knowledge of Great Plains or similar general ledger tool
• Experience in revenue recognition forecasting, including timing related and subscription revenues
