Our nine week Investment Bank: Capital Markets & Advisory Summer Associate Program delivers hands-on experience comparable to a first year Associate. Our group specific hiring model will allow you to collaborate and work on deal teams within a particular product or industry group on a broad array of transactions and deals. You will prepare and analyze companies' financial models, assess the impact of a transaction on a client's financial results and capital structure, and participate in due diligence sessions and client presentations/calls. This deal experience will provide access and exposure to internal and external clients resulting in impact and recognition.

Credit Suisse's Los Angeles office offers an unparalleled Wall Street experience on the West Coast. Junior bankers receive significant execution experience across a broad range of investment banking products and industries. As a member of the LA office, you will work on small deal teams with significant individual responsibility. Coverage efforts based in Los Angeles include Financial Sponsors and Gaming & Lodging. The office is known for its strength in Leveraged Finance, being involved in some of the industry's highest-profile, headline-grabbing LBO financings.

Training & development
You will attend a week-long training program in Los Angeles prior to starting work in the group for the summer. Your learning experience will continue through the summer with "lunch and learn" sessions, where you will hear directly from senior bankers in the office. You will be matched with both a junior and a senior mentor who provide one-on-one advice and guidance throughout the summer.

Qualifications & how to apply
  • You must be enrolled in a MBA, JD/MBA, or equivalent graduate program with at least three years of prior work experience and graduate by December 2021 or by May/June 2022

  • All Americas New York groups except Latin America are included in the New York application. Regional groups and New York Latin America have their own - application
  • You may apply to multiple groups/programs.
