YOUR IMPACT

We are seeking a Vice President as part of the Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management PFM Solutions (PFMS) team, who will be responsible for supporting Goldman Sachs Personal Financial Management (PFM) advisors and clients by providing technical support and information across various financial planning services including tax planning, trust services, estate planning and charitable services

PFM is Goldman Sachs advisor channel focused on High Net Worth (HNW) clients. Our mission is to assist each one of our unique clients to meet their financial objectives to help them live the life they want.  The PFM HNW clients generally have a net worth within $1-10M. Critical to the success of PFM is our ability to leverage a team of talented professionals to define solutions and provide timely information on financial planning to our advisors and clients.

This role resides in the PFMS Group within PFM. The team is responsible for facilitating platform adoption through product development, technical support, and delivery of financial planning context and insights to the PFM advisors and their clients.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

• Work closely with internal subject matter experts, including Aycos Tax Planning & Research group, to facilitate sharing of technical expertise across various disciplines including tax planning, trust services, estate planning, and charitable services. This will include communication of planning strategies and techniques, channeling of client and advisor questions, spearheading content development and training modules
• Coordinate with relevant team members at PFM, and across the Goldman Sachs Consumer and Wealth Management Division, to develop and deliver highly impactful planning insights and product positioning ideas relevant to the PFM clientele.
• Help drive adoption of the PFM Solutions platform
• Fulfill general inquiries from advisors on these topics
• Exhibit teamwork, intellectual curiosity and acumen for being resourceful with internal and external resources

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WERE LOOKING FOR

• Minimum Bachelors degree (U.S. or equivalent), CFP preferred
• Excellent communication skills, especially the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms
• Familiarity with financial planning topics around taxes, trusts, estate planning and philanthropy. Understanding of financial planning software such as MoneyGuide Pro and E-Money is a plus
• Strong inter-personal skills, resourcefulness and ability to work effectively with others
• Strong work ethic and commercial perspective
• Strong technical skills including high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
