Piper Sandler is the most prolific advisor to depositories for M&A and capital raising,  We’ve completed more than 250 Depository M&A transactions since 2016 with an aggregate deal value of approximately $67 billion and 281 debt capital markets issuances since 2014 with over $17 billion raised for our clients.

We are currently looking for an Investment Banking Analyst to join the San Francisco Depositories team.   Our Analysts work closely with senior bankers to make a real impact on our clients’ businesses. On a day-to-day basis our analysts:

• Assist with transaction execution, including M&A and capital raising
• Create pitch books
• Conduct industry- and company-specific research
• Interact with clients and senior bankers

• Bachelor’s degree from a top tier school; finance or accounting preferred (but not required)
• Recent graduate (2019 or 2020) preferred

• Extremely detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
• Candidates must be able to work well under pressure, handle multiple projects at once and learn quickly
• Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills

Analyst Career Path

Top performers may have the option of a third year. Direct promotions to associate level positions are also available.
