As a Private Wealth Division Associate Marketing Manager , this individual will be part of Franklin Templeton's Global Marketing Services team. Responsibilities include development, execution and support of client-based marketing programs and materials. This position also requires innovation, communication, and project management skills to assist in the development of industry-leading marketing programs. These skills include identifying new tactics and techniques to support marketing efforts, communicating effectively across the firm's cross functional teams (sales, legal, , creative services, print management and more); managing projects from proof of concept to implementation; identifying areas for efficiencies; establishing and tracking metrics.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Oversee the schedule and execution of content updates for existing materials, including routing, editing, proofing, FINRA filing and maintaining appropriate inventory levels
  • Help plan, develop and manage the creation and roll out of compelling marketing materials, including brochures, web content, email and presentations
  • Liaise with key internal partners to obtain in-depth expertise of client needs, business insight and market trends to create effective marketing materials.
  • Gauge effectiveness and timeliness of marketing programs and materials and make recommendations.
  • Monitor fund, industry and market activities
  • Remain current with FINRA compliance rules
  • Support ad hoc requests

Ideal Candidates will have:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with a major in economics, business or marketing. MBA a plus.
  • 2-5 years' experience in investment product marketing/communication role
  • Experience in financial services marketing, specifically to the financial advisor/RIA market preferred
  • Understanding of financial markets, mutual funds and the financial services industry preferred
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities
  • Ability to write compelling marketing content
  • Knowledge and experience with print and digital marketing
  • Self-starter who can work independently or with minimal supervision
  • Able to manage multiple projects at one time
  • Knowledge of office applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of regulatory and industry rules, guidelines, and standards strongly desired (SEC, FINRA, GIPS Ò )
Additional Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience in financial services marketing (preferably asset management)
  • Expertise in SEC advertising rules and FINRA Rules of Fair Practice

  • Ability to manage projects that involve team members from other departments
