Thismulti-faceted position is a hybrid between a business and financial analyst,which requires strong organizational and project management skills. Theposition reports to the Credit Reserve Director and is responsible for providingorganizational oversight to orchestrate the end-to-end quarterly CECL (CurrentExpected Credit Loss) reserve reporting process. Responsibilities includeliaising and coordinating across multiple departments of the Bank to ensurethat the CECL reporting process adheres to the strict quarterly timelines andthe reserve documentation is managed to a professional standard. This rolewill interact closely with the CECL modelling team, the SOX control and thefinance teams of the Bank. In addition, the successful candidate will also berequired to work with the Banks portfolio data and the CECL platformtechnology support teams. As such, knowledge of programming, databasequery skills and any knowledge/experience with financial control is beneficial.
Theroles will be dynamic and will enable the successful candidate to gainfirst-hand experience applying their skills to oversee Banks credit reservecalculations, to help interpret the results in a business context as well asprovide exposure to the Banks executive leaders. Ideal candidates for thisrole will have 3+ years relevant consulting and/or industry and functionalexperience. This position requires working independently with minimumsupervision under aggressive timelines in a fast-paced environment.
