JOB FAMILY DESCRIPTION

Responsible for directing long range planning and development strategy for the company's Digital Mortgage products to ensure the best use of its resources and product roadmaps in accordance with objectives for growth and profitability. Defines digital product roadmap to meet market requirements in support of product line strategy by considering position in life cycle, product profitability, pricing strategies, client satisfaction, and sales success rate. Manages a team of Product Owners within Black Knight's Digital Division.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Directs Mortgage Digital Customer Service Product's long-range planning and development program to ensure the best use of its resources and product strategy in accordance with objectives for growth and profitability.
  • Acts as a visionary evangelist for Black Knight's Digital Customer Service (mortgage) product.
  • Prepares and presents product roadmap reviews as well as providing product's general strategic direction
  • Demonstrates leadership by establishing and articulating a clear vision of success and how goals and objectives will be achieved.
  • Defines and implements plans for the digital mortgage products goals and objectives to ensure growth and profitability.
  • Lead, direct and trains Product Owner team effectively.
  • Manages the performance of subordinates and of self. Sets challenging but attainable performance objectives.
  • Monitors progress to performance objectives, and eliminates obstacles when possible.
  • Assigns and monitors the work of team, providing technical and analytical support and direction. Interfaces with external clients or field-based employees on technical matters as needed.
  • Manages budgeting and financial forecasting for the digital mortgage customer service product, and achieves forecasted financial results for assigned cost centers.
  • Monitors and understands product's profit and loss statement.
  • Provides presentations to clients during business reviews, prospect briefings, and internal group meetings.
  • Consults directly with the client and must be able to travel as much as 50%, as needed by the business. Typical travel ranges from 25% - 50%.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL GUIDELINES

At least one Agile Certification is a plus for this position (e.g. Certified SAFe Agilist (SA), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Scaled Agile Framework Practitioner (SAFe-SP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or other similar Agile certifications)

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Knowledge of Black Knights products and services
  • Knowledge in Mortgage Customer Service or Servicing desired
  • Knowledge or experience in an Agile SDLC environment desired
  • Experience in Product Management preferred
  • Experience working with B2B software delivery a plus
  • Experience with tools such as TFS or Trello a plus
  • Knowledge of banking processes a plus
  • Skill in product budgeting and forecasting
  • Experience managing Product Owners/Product Managers a plus
  • Ability to independently interact with executive level clients
  • Ability to operate independently
  • Ability to exhibit solid decision-making and problem solving
  • Ability to lead under pressure with independent judgment
  • Ability to lead, direct and manage effectively
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, clients and public

Business Strategy Manager Senior

Middle level management role. Manages staffing, budgeting, planning for functional area. Implements strategic plans and objectives for multiple business units while ensuring the business units meet their objectives. Works with senior leadership to establish strategic plans and objectives for the business units while ensuring objectives are met. Works on multiple, complex projects as a project leader and subject matter expert. Interacts with executives, management and clients. Typically requires seven (7) or more years of experience in the information technology, financial services industry or commercial banking and three (3) years of experience in a management role.
