The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the strategy and execution of TeamMate’s social media efforts that align with TeamMate’s business goals.  This individual will take direction from the Director, Strategic Marketing, who drives global marketing functions across the TeamMate business unit.

Specifically, the Digital Marketing Specialist will work under moderate direction, performing research on current social trends and audience preferences, setting specific objectives and reporting on ROI and managing social media channels and supporting technologies on a daily basis. 

In detail, responsibilities will include:   

  • Collaborate with marketing resources to identify upcoming potential content for social media
  • Manage social media accounts across LinkedIn (primary), Facebook, twitter and Youtube
  • Generate creative content, including both graphics and text, and share engaging content daily
  • Manage social media calendar, implement social listening and manage results in Sprout platform
  • Manage the Bambu platform, designing and sharing posts for employee advocacy
  • Communicate with followers as required, responding to queries in a timely manner and monitor market & customer responses
  • Monitor competitive social media activity and provide recommendations for better addressing competitors efforts 
  • Stay up to date with current social media trends and technologies, providing regular recommendations on how to improve engagement and followers
  • Collaborate with other digital marketing resources to ensure that social marketing efforts are in synch with SEO, website and other digital marketing efforts

The Digital Marketing Specialist will also:

  • Be an active part of the Strategic Marketing team to implement programs to meet organization's goals
  • Demonstrate excellent internal and external communication skills with a particular ability to define what success looks like with a strong dedication to meeting agreed-upon goals
  • Demonstrate expertise in social media management systems, bringing best practices to the marketing function
  • Demonstrate creative strengths in graphics, videos and written content to support the social media program

Minimum Education Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field, OR equivalent

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in social media marketing
  • Strong analytical skills (including mastery of Microsoft Excel and experience with Google Analytics and other social media reporting tools)
  • Strong proficiency in leveraging LinkedIn for social media marketing
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment
  • Technically capable, excellent communicator, and a strong desire to improve processes
  • Highly analytical and able to derive meaning from data
  • Excellent writer and communicator (in both the written and verbal form)
  • Creative design skills, using standard graphics tools such as Adobe, Canva or other similar tools
