The Office - Service Processing / Tax Coordinator provides direct client support by conducting specific service activities, generally in assurance and tax. They will support the services team leaders in managing the business functions and growth through marketing activities.

As a Service Processing / Tax Office Coordinator, you will perform the following responsibilities:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and mailing tax organizers

  • Organizing and scanning client documents

  • Assembling final tax returns and preparing extensions

  • Help support and manage client deadlines and all reporting throughXCM /GoFileRoomandAXCESS /CCHProSystemFx

  • Proactively managedatabase and workflow systems to ensure accurate maintenance of client data

  • Tracking and managing all taxeFiledeadlines for the local office

  • Efileform management, ensuring all forms are collected and processed in a timely manner

  • Proactively engaging office paraprofessionals to assist with peak filing deadlines

  • Responding to client needs on behalf of tax team as needed to assistin time and workflow management

  • Must maintain confidentiality

Internal Support:

  • Proactively support team leader in managing one of the following services: tax, and/or assurance practices.

  • Review and analyze documents, identify solutions and assist when needed to support additional team members

  • Support multiple service lines to ensure processing, facilitating, tracking, reporting, etc.

  • Must be adaptable, meet timelines / deadlines, flexible and team oriented

  • Must be organized, detail oriented; as well as other activities may be assigned

Specific Requirements and Preferences:

  • 3 or more years of related experience

  • Professional services industry experience, a plus

  • High school degree or equivalent. Associate or Bachelor's degree, a plus

  • Computer skills; knowledgeable in excel, XCM, and audit (highly preferred)
