A Financial Firm in Tampa is looking for an AML Risk Analytics Manager with strong statistical modeling and predictive modeling experience working with Anti Money Laundering Detection and Transaction Monitoring Models to join the AML Financial Crimes team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop statistical data-driven tools to measure, enhance and optimize detection logic for the banks AML transaction monitoring programs
  • Create AML systems that use advanced analytics to uncover AML risk across all business lines
  • Develop systems that will increase fraud detection efficiency as well as constantly monitor AML detection systems effectiveness
  • Provide subject matter expertise to support a data-driven approach to AML compliance optimization and methodology
  • Establish procedures for evaluating the banks AML optimization process
  • Use machine learning algorithms to review AML detection results to improve system efficiency

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in a Quantitative field preferably Statistics or Math
  • 4+ years of proven Anti-Money Laundering analytics and risk management solutions experience
  • Must have proven experience developing and optimizing financial crime detection applications
  • Must have experience with Transaction Monitoring systems (Mantas, Bridger Insight)
  • Must have Financial Services Experience (retail banking, commercial banking, trading firm, private banking)
  • Must have strong statistical programming skills, segmentation, sampling (SAS, R, SQL, Excel)
  • Must have strong data analytic skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
