Overview:

Provides subject matter expertise and effective sales, practice management and client experience solutions to support business growth strategies. Ensures that initiatives and solutions, programs and processes are consistently and effectively implemented across the business. Develops professional practices to scale and maturity for various roles through defined practice management tools & techniques, standards as well as the adoption of the associated behaviors. Conducts training, coaching, facilitation and applies change management expertise to drive business results.

Primary liaison between in-market professionals; including but not limited to, Managing Directors and Private Wealth Advisors, and National Client Experience Sales Enablement Office (NECESO) supporting the effective execution of the Client Experience and Sales related efforts to BMO Wealth Management clients.

Qualifications:

Incumbent must have excellent written and verbal communication, proficient knowledge of the BMO Wealth Management sales tools, proven track record of sales capabilities, the ability to lead and influence individuals for which they do not have any management responsibilities, demonstrates strategic thinking and extensive knowledge of the wealth management business.

  • Provides strategic input into business decisions as a trusted advisor.
  • Makes recommendations to senior leaders on strategy and new initiatives, based on an in-depth understanding of the business/group.
  • May network with industry contacts to gain competitive insights and best practices.
  • Manages resources and leads the execution of strategic initiatives to deliver on business and financial goals.
  • Recommends business priorities, advises on resource requirements and develops roadmap for strategic execution.
  • Acts as the prime subject matter expert for internal/external stakeholders.
  • Defines business requirements for analytics & reporting to ensure data insights inform business decision making.
  • Leads change management programs of varying scope and type, including readiness assessments, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation and sustainment of initiatives.
  • Leads the development of the communication strategy focusing on positively influencing or changing behavior.
  • Collaborates across BMO to develop communications strategies and ensure consistency of messaging, in order to positively influence or change behavior.
  • Leads the execution of sales and client experience programs; assesses and adapts as needed to ensure quality of execution.
  • Works with stakeholders to establish priorities.
  • Manages resources and leads the execution of strategic initiatives to deliver on business and financial goals.
  • Leads the execution of practice management programs; assesses and adapts as needed to ensure quality of execution
  • Develops solutions and makes recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs.
  • Provides advice and guidance to assigned business/group on implementation of solutions
  • Collaborates with internal & external stakeholders to successful implementation of practice management solutions
  • Provides input into the planning and implementation of practice management programs.
  • Supports development and execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide practice management insights and recommendations; includes recommendations across a wide of range of opportunities to drive business results.
  • Employs systems (e.g. customized exception reports, tracking reports etc.) to manage information.
  • Integrates information from multiple sources to enable more efficient processes, enhanced analysis and/or streamlined reporting.
  • Executes work to deliver timely, accurate, and efficient service.
  • Operates at a group/enterprise-wide level and serves as a specialist resource to senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Applies expertise and thinks creatively to address unique or ambiguous situations and to find solutions to problems that can be complex and non-routine.
  • Implements changes in response to shifting trends.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
  • Typically, 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Specific designations may be required: CFP, CPWA, CPA etc.
  • Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience and industry knowledge.
