Consultant, Client Services Investment Operations New 📅 80740 Requisition # 📅 6 days ago Post Date Acting independently, under general supervision, this position will be responsible for performing investment operations duties related to institutional products for an industry leading fund manager. The focus of the role will include analysis, trading, security delivery and reconciliation of Company Stock Funds as well as providing project leadership for managing all client driven events within Stable Value, Fund of Funds, and Company Stock accounts. The key responsibilities of the position include: • Calculate, review and initiate daily Company Stock liquidity trades for both unitized and share-accounting funds. • Perform daily trading impact analysis. • Work with client to coordinate the reversal and reprocessing of investor activity related to large trading impacts. • Oversee the in-kind distribution delivery and reconciliation process for Company Stock funds. • Research and resolve complex exceptions and coordinate corrective entries and preventative processes. • Analyze payments and valuation impacts related to fee payments. • Lead client change events including implementations, fund launches, mergers, corporate actions and fund closings by coordinating activities across multiple fund products. o Maintain working action plan for event. o Coordinate ongoing meetings between interested parties. • Oversee daily investor activity and work closely with Institutional Fund Accounting and Daily Valuation Operations teams to resolve any issues in a timely manner. • Communicate as needed with client oversight team and partner areas, especially regarding client exceptions. • Acts in a leadership role and as a technical resource or subject matter expert for Institutional Fund Accounting and internal partner areas. • Identify service efficiency enhancements, process and service delivery improvements using creative and proactive measures. The successful candidate will benefit from having: • 4 or more years of experience with Institutional Fund Accounting or Investment Operations. • Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills, required to identify and resolve complex issues. . • Knowledge of investment operations processes, acquired through related experience, related to 401(k)/defined contribution plans including fund valuations, unitization and investments. • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks appropriately. • Flexibility to change with business needs and demands.
