At CLA, we create inspired careers. We want to know you, but also help you grow your career! CLA is seeking to hire an Office - Service Processing / Tax Coordinator to join our Internal Operations team and support the Oakbrook, IL office.

The Office - Service Processing / Tax Coordinator provides direct client support by conducting specific service activities, generally in assurance and tax. They will support the services team leaders in managing the business functions and growth through marketing activities.

For this position, you must be able to use your organizational skills, manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively as you will collaborate with multiple CLA Family members to support the firm / office needs. As a Service Processing / Tax Office Coordinator, you will perform the following responsibilities:

Internal Support:

·Proactively support team leader in managing one of the following services: tax, and/or assurance practices

· Review and analyze documents, identify solutions and assist when needed to support additional team members

· Support multiple service lines to ensure processing, facilitating, tracking, reporting, etc.

· Must be adaptable, meet timelines / deadlines, flexible and team oriented

· Must be organized, detail oriented; other activities may be assigned

Tax:

·Accountable for one or more various responsibilities relating to the tax process including preparing and mailing tax organizers

·Responsible for organizing and scanning client documents

· Accountable for assembling final tax returns and preparing extensions

· Help support and manager client deadlines and all reporting through XCM and Axcess Tax.

·Proactively manage database and workflow systems to ensure accurate maintenance of client data.

· Responsible for tracking and managing all tax eFile deadlines for the local office

·Organize, scan and source client documents. Support and provide back up to other internal operations team during peak busy seasons, and as needed

·Provide completed returns and instructions to client for completing workflow process

·Ensure the collection of authorization forms (8879) from clients before tax returns are released.

·Respond to client needs on behalf of tax team as needed to assist in time and workflow management.

·May have accountabilities across other internal operations roles

Minimum experience required

· 3 or more years of related experience

· Professional services industry experience, a plus

· High school degree or high school equivalency. Associate or Bachelor's degree, a plus

·Computer skills; knowledgeable in excel, XCM, and audit
