The Manager Financial Planning will report directly to the VP, Financial Planning Global Business Services (GBS) and will function as a business partner to the GBS Technology, BRM and Business Operations teams and Global WK Divisions. This position will lead all Global WK Divisional analytics related to GBS spend as well as manage a team of 4-5 individuals. Support includes monthly financial reporting, analysis, month end close, annual budgeting, and three-year strategy plan. The position will also be a resource to the larger GBS Finance organization in support of complex financial projects and major initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with multiple stakeholders across Global Business Services (GBS) Technology, BRM and Business Operations teams and Global WK Divisions to develop and assess the impact of key strategic initiatives
  • Lead all Global WK Divisional analytics related to GBS spend as well as manage a team of 4-5 individuals
  • Manage monthly financial reporting, analysis, month end close, annual budgeting, and three-year strategy plan
  • Prepare forecasts and evaluate corresponding efficiencies, productivity, and other initiatives, as applicable
  • Participate in the monthly financial closing process via submission of key accruals and other necessary journal entries
  • Report monthly financial results, analyze and interpret financial information pertaining to GBS spend and savings
  • Understand business issues and advise on business policy, resource allocation, and business operations to improve financial performance
  • Assist in developing the creation of annual budget and three-year strategy plan, detailing cost expectations, along with supporting strategic and tactical plans
  • Prepare forecasts and evaluate corresponding efficiencies, productivity and other initiatives, as applicable
  • Participate in the monthly financial closing process via submission of key accruals and other necessary journal entries
  • Participate and recommend efficiencies and opportunities for process improvement within given responsibility

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of eight years of finance experience, including financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling; experience in financial reporting and IT operations preferred
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; Masters and CPA preferred
  • 3-5 years managing finance or accounting teams
  • Experience interacting with and presenting to senior leadership
  • Exceptional analytical acumen and the ability to tailor complex messages to the appropriate audience in a collaborative manner
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel and Outlook; experience with database tools preferred
  • Experience with SAP and planning/reporting software such as Hyperion, Essbase and GEAC preferred
  • Experience in software or IT industry preferred
  • Ability to travel as needed
