As the Director, Field Sales Development you will be instrumental in ensuring that the FIAM (Fidelity Institutional Asset Management) Field Sales teams have the knowledge & skills necessary to execute on the goals set forth by the business. Your ability to be proactive and anticipate business needs, successfully build productive relationships, communicate effectively, work autonomously, project management skills and execution are all critical elements to be successful in the role.

  • Proven track record of driving sales and thriving in a sales culture
  • 5-7 years of financial services and client facing sales Bachelor's degree
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63


The Purpose of Your Role

The Field Sales Training Director is responsible for partnering with the Institutional and Intermediary field sales organizations to understand and assess needs, propose learning interventions where appropriate and deliver impactful, innovative solutions that will drive sales and increase associate capabilities. This role is responsible for all field sales on boarding, technology training and selling skills training. This role will also act as program manager for large scale/high visibility projects that impact our field sales force. Industry knowledge & investment sophistication will be critical to building credibility in this role. Additionally, this role will be responsible for reinforcement training of existing knowledge & skills.
