Basic Purpose:

The Director of Sales Systems and Data Quality will work collaboratively with management teams of Eaton Vance Distributors, IT, and Mutual Fund Operations to manage the sales database data. They will oversee the data integrity within all systems and manage a team of Sales Systems analysts and specialists to maintain the data.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee CRM data integrity within EVD, with responsibility to continuously strive for clean data within all systems
  • Work collaboratively with the management teams of EVD Distribution Administration, IT and Mutual Fund Operations Home Office teams to manage the sales database data and keep current on any edits to existing TA or omnibus feeds, firm and fund mergers as well a financial advisor movements
  • Help prioritize system requests and software updates with CRM Support Team. Assist with testing plans and recommendations on approaches to changes in the program.
  • Responsible for day-to-day department operations and for supervising the workflow to ensure accurate and timely completion of assignments.
  • Serves as the data steward for EVD data stored in enterprise-wide systems. Primary point of contact regarding data for IT and operational teams.
  • Assists in the commission calculation process; provides ad hoc data and metrics; works to automate data collection; synchronizes data across CRM, Sales Reporting and Callidus.
  • Helps manage business risk through the introduction of effective internal controls. Oversee the development and implementation of best practices and process standards.
  • Responsible for approving technology changes and developing processes to conform to internal audit procedures.
  • Provide training and development of staff and ensure that department members are cross-trained in order to provide adequate backup.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years of financial services experience.
  • Expert knowledge of CRM systems, preferably SalesPage and Satuit.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to gather unrefined business requirements from multiple sources and formulate and deliver a solution in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated understanding of business requirements and industry trends.
