Our HR Business Partner team is looking for an HR Analyst to fill a new role on our team. The successful candidate will support our Investment Operations and Technology ('Investech') organization comprising roughly 1000 professionals. This individual will work closely with the Human Resource Relationship Managers, people managers and employees of the Invetech team to provide day-to-day HR support and services.


Working as part of a small, global team, the HR Analyst is a cross-functional role, broadly supporting all HR processes, projects and day to day issues covering the full employee lifecycle. The person who fills this role will work on a wide range of HR, analytical and project-based activities such as:
  • Attracting and onboarding talent
    • Work with our campus recruiting team and managers of our early career programs to identify hiring needs and coordinate across groups
    • Help HR Relationship Managers analyze and make recommendations on new joiner offers
    • Welcome new joiners to ensure connectivity, engagement, and maximize onboarding outcomes
  • Developing and retaining talent
    • Assist in the coordination and execution of learning and development initiatives
    • Work closely with our immigration specialists, global mobility team and global stakeholders regarding visa applications, expatriate packages and relocation
  • Project management, process and efficiency
    • In collaboration with other HR analyst, coordinate and manage timelines for all HR processes and projects for Infrastructure HRRM team
    • Drive process communications around yearly employee lifecycle activities like promotions and compensation
    • Conduct employee trend analysis on areas of focus like diversity, employee departures, etc.
    • Liaise with the HR Specialist functions as a connection point between the processes and the businesses, including coordinating and consolidating requests made to managers
    • Partner with the HR Data Management team to ensure employee data for the functions they support is kept up to date and accurate. This will include coordinating employee movement, auditing data periodically, and training individuals in the business on systems and process
    • Provide HR Relationship Managers with analytical support, data, and reporting in partnership with HR analytics team
  • HR Coverage
  • Through mentorship and on the job training with HRRMs, develop skills to:
  • Provide trusted advisor support to employees for questions and concerns
  • Assist employees with career development/progression issues as well as problem resolution
  • Coach managers on employee relations issues
  • Exiting talent from the firm
  • Be the primary contact for exit interview processes and ensure employees have a smooth transition out of the firm through existing processes
  • Pull and review metrics from exit surveys to identify trends and raise to team/business

This is a dynamic role that requires a strong fiduciary mindset, intellectual curiosity and advanced analytical skill including the ability to frame issues, identify important points and draw conclusions. Strong communication skills, interpersonal flexibility and a pragmatic, problem-solving approach is a must. While the Analyst will work in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment many projects will be self-directed, often under deadline pressures.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in Human Resources
  • Experience in financial services, technology or other professional services organization strongly preferred
  • Technologically savvy. Demonstrated ability to learn and use technology to drive efficiency
  • Ability to build strong relationships and provide feedback, influence and say no when necessary
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, including presentation and facilitation skills
  • Solid project management skills - develop project plans, scope and ensure execution and delivery
  • Sharp quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to synthesize information
  • Grace under pressure and ability to adapt and get things done
