CLA is seeking a Mortgage Quality Control Processor to join our Mortgage Advisory Services Team in Lexington, MA

The Mortgage Quality Control Processor completes re-verification steps in connection with pre and post funding quality control audit services.

Work Activities & Accountabilities

  • Re-verification: Review steps, cover credit and underwriting documentation and conduct follow up review of credit reports and other investigative verifications. Prepare letters, conduct verbal employment verifications and investigations, and order credit reports and tax transcripts to re-verify loan applications. Verify and check information received as a result of the re-verification steps. Data entry of verification results. Processing, tracking and archiving of re-verification requests, closing documents, appraisal reviews and various quality control functions.
  • Technical Competencies: Proficiency with Microsoft (MS) Windows, MS Office products, Adobe, and internet applications is necessary.

Organizational Interfaces

The Mortgage Quality Control Processor reports directly to the Quality Control Processing Director. S/he will receive work direction and technical guidance from Senior Quality Control Analysts.

Minimum Required Experience, Education, and Certifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: A minimum of one year processing experience.
  • Certifications/Licenses: none.
