A ROLE YOU WILL LOVE

The Quality Control Analyst is primarily responsible forassisting with data validation management and quality assurance under REG C(HMDA). Additional responsibilities will be related to HMDA reporting andassistance in preparation for client review and external examinations. This position will bereporting to the Quality Control Manager of Compliance.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Educationand Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least five (5) years of Home Loan Mortgage Disclosure Act Knowledge (recent- within the last 2 years)
  • Quality Control of Agency files (Fannie Mae and Freddi Mac), Government loan files (FHA, VA, USDA), and RI Housing
  • Risk management experience preferred
  • Origination compliance experience (including Retail, HELOC, and Correspondence)

LanguageAbility

Ability to read/analyze/interpret business periodicals/journals/technical procedures/gov. regulations; write reports/businesscorrespondence/procedure manuals; effectively present information/respond toquestions from managers/clients/customers/public.

MathematicalAbility

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts,interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, andvolume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

  • Validate that HMDA fields are accurate for all HMDA reportable loans, per source documents and system of record
  • Understanding regulatory requirements to facilitate operational support and the research, compilation and submission of data
  • Coordinate and compile required loan log(s).
  • Navigate the HMDA data capture routines by working with Business Teams to understand program functionality.
  • Support clients as needed
  • Conduct monthly HMDA audits and prepare reporting
  • Support internal and or external HMDA audits
  • Update HMDA policy and procedures as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as requested, needed or assigned
