Assistant Director - Principal UX Designer

In this role you will be a member of the Moody's Analytics' team creating and supporting some of the industry's leading software solutions for the structured finance industry. You will be involved in all aspects of SDLC, working directly with key business stakeholders to build and support key Structured Analytics and Valuation (SAV) applications.

Typical Responsibilities include:

•Brainstorm, design and develop elegant solutions to complex enterprise workflows.

•Design and implement re-usable and consistent UX workflows.

•Ensure the product is highly configurable and extensible.

•Work with business analyst and developers to deliver a robust user experience.

•Research and build POCs while working with business stakeholders.

•Create technical design documents and present the details to a larger audience.

•In depth knowledge of modern design frameworks.

•Develop wireframes, behavioral specifications and personas

•Take initiative in providing input and feedback

•Research interaction design trends

Structured Analytics and Valuations

•Candidates should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Fine Arts, or related discipline.

•Significant enterprise UX development (5+ years of software design and development experience). This position requires hands-on development.

•Must have extensive knowledge of CSS3 and HTML5.

•Extensive experience in creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components.

•Experience creating configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Integration environments.

•Preferred 2+ years of experience developing cross-browser, cross-platform, and/or cross-device applications using NodeJS, AngularJS, Bootstrap, CSS3, HTML5 and JavaScript.

•Preferred to have built MVC and/or MVVM based architectures using JavaScript frameworks.

•Nice to have experience with testing and automation methodologies and tools

•Knowledge of working on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus

•Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including good presentation skills.

•Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, yet integrate appropriately with the team and other areas within Moody's.

•Goal oriented and able to meet deadlines consistently.

•Comfortable working in a team based environment
