Software Engineer- APM Engineer
Job Description The Application Performance Engineer's primary responsibilities include providing architecture design, planning, implementation and oversight for the IT monitoring environment for on premise and cloud applications.
Expanding the Application Performance Monitoring program to improve application performance, availability, and resiliency through real-time monitoring.
Define the monitoring tools, design, and configuration needed to meet the needs of the organization and customers.
Assist in developing / updating documentation including service catalog, implementations, configurations, processes, and policies.
Work with internal teams and vendors to build a solution that includes network, systems, and application performance dashboards.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineer, Software Development.
- Experience with HP LoadRunner, appDynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk or any other APM tools.
- Experience in the Web / Application Performance Management (APM) space.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively.
- Demonstrated understanding of projects from the perspective of both client and business.
- Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary.
- Strong attention to details, debugging, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
