RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Jersey City, NJ. Associate on the Firm's Financial Systems Risk Management team, which serves as a liaison between the global user population and the information technology teams to maintain the security and integrity of the firm's general ledger, financial reporting, and regulatory reporting applications. Provide first level end user support to global controller population for core proprietary Federal reporting system infrastructure used for the filing and re-filing of FED Forms FRY_9C, FFIEC-031 (Call report), TIC_D, FRY_12, FRY_11 & FR_2314. Maintain data integrity by enforcing controls over key external reporting and break resolution processes. Collaborate with internal Controllers and Technology groups in order to generate free forms with accurate data into the Axiom application. Responsible for the maintenance and security of federal reporting applications, including the proprietary Frame-FED and Frame-SEC systems and Axiom technology in accordance with Firm's policy and procedures. Monitor workflow controls and perform reconciliations between Axiom and various proprietary source systems such as Frame-FED and Frame-SEC as well as the Firm's other reporting systems such as Reporting Data Warehouse (RDW) and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM). Ensure that the Controllers applications are ready for end users by performing system integration, regression testing, and data source checkout tests to ensure accurate data flow to the forms to be filed with the Federal Reserve Bank (FRB or FED).
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field. Will accept single degree or combination of degrees/certifications and/or professional experience that are equivalent to a Bachelor's degree. Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Must have three (3) years of experience with Axiom, a regulatory reporting software client used to generate and file FRB reports to: compare new releases of FED reports and ensure the data quality by enforcing controls over key processes and break resolution; extracting reconciliation reports and identifying resolution for the breaks between the controller source systems (HFM, RDW); meet critical FED timelines and respond to user queries; perform system integration, regression testing, data source checkouts and prepare test scripts to validate data flowing to Fed forms; maintain account mappings to relevant line items in FED reports to ensure completeness and accuracy; partner with Global Controllers and Technology teams to implement changes in Fed reporting systems; maintain security access using different tools and applications such as JIRA & SRS; liaise with external/internal auditors on FED processes managed by FSRM. Must have three (3) years of experience with HFM/RDW controller system, including experience effectively analyzing existing reports in order to examine and evaluate the FED reporting data; DRM controller system to maintain chart field hierarchy which is crucial to have downstream data into FED reports; Essbase to retrieve data from multiple reporting cubes to perform reconciliations and various functions to confirm the accuracy of the FED reports; acting as a liaison between a global end user population and information technology teams to maintain security and integrity of a firm's general ledger, financial reporting, and regulatory reporting applications.
