This VIE in Jersey City is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.

Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering school or University, majoring in Finance.
A previous experience in Investment Banking would be appreciated.
You are fluent in English.
You are proficient in Office application Evolution

At Societe Generale, you will be joining the Operations department (OPER) of Global Banking & Investors Solutions (GBIS), one of the three pillars of SG that brings together Corporate and Investment Banking activities, Private Banking activities, and Asset Management and Investor Services. OPER handles the middle and back office functions for all GBIS business lines.
In addition, OPER ensures the control and security of transaction processing in accordance with current financial legislations.
The TCF BAC area is very fast-paced.
We are responsible for processing international trade products which include documentary and standby letters of credit and collections.
We operate within industry standards and regulatory guidelines. This means that products are serviced in accordance with ICC and OFAC, AML and Anti-Boycott rules/guidelines.
We interact with the following groups on a regular, sometimes daily basis:
Legal, Compliance, various Middle and Front Offices; including but not limited to Commodities, Export Trade Finance, Structured Finance, GTPS, Project Finance, Insurance, Foreign Exchange, Loan Servicing, Collateral Management, ITEC and Funds Transfer.
