RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Jersey City, NJ. Responsible for end-to-end systems development cycle from requirements analysis, coding, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and maintenance of financial applications. Architect and develop technical specifications, high level/detailed design, test and implementation plans from business requirements. Guide the implementation of new technologies to ensure that they meet the business objectives, while integrating with the current landscape of application functionality. Build systems and tools to consolidate related data across the firm with a consistent Application Programming Interface (API) and programming environment. Interact with business stakeholders, and technology leadership to establish a direction that uniquely positions the Client Experience team to successfully deliver software solutions that meets the Client Ops business objectives. Adopt and use best practices for building scalable and enterprise level applications. Mentor junior developers, initiate and perform code reviews, and participate in internal technology committees and recruiting efforts.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field. Seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Must have five (5) years of experience with: developing N-Tier applications using Java and .NET framework, including at least 2 years of experience with Java; Object oriented software design and experience applying software design patterns to develop modular and reusable software; developing Service oriented architectures using web services, and ORM frameworks such as Hibernate or Entity Framework; database design and development with SQL Server and DB2, using JDBC/ODBC and ADO.NET. Query performance tuning; Test Driven Development and experience using testing frameworks including Junit, TestNG, Mokito, Fitnesse, and Cucumber; applying analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate technical feasibility, identifying and mitigating risks and technical challenges by working with subject matter experts across multiple technology teams; managing the full software development life cycle, including eliciting requirements from end users, testing, deployment as well as business continuity planning; working with a global development team, managing delivery by coordinating development effectively across regions; and working with both technical and non-technical internal stakeholders during a project lifecycle. Must have one and a half (1.5) years of experience: using thin client UI development frameworks, including Angular and architecting solutions within the financial industry.
