Software Engineer

As a member of our Software Engineering Group you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You'll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists focused and dedicated on enhancing the firm's business processes. We are improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that go into high quality software and creating visually stimulating and insightful products. You'll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what's being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks and Automated Software Development (CI/CD) -is imperative. Moreover, you'll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world.
Thisrole requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

Bachelorsor Masters in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical/Software engineering,Mathematics, Physics or equivalent experience
Advancedknowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Understandingof architecture and design across all systems
Workingproficiency in developmental toolsets
Proficiencyin one or more general purpose programming languages including
Developmentin Java, C#, Python, C/C++ or Node.js
WebDevelopment - HTML5 ; JavaScript ; CSS
APIweb services
Strongunderstanding of data warehousing techniques and data modelling, withdemonstrable SQL skills
Understandingof software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance andsoftware improvement ideally in an agile framework
Abilityto work in a fast-paced dynamic environment Experience with relationaldatabases and handling large data sets
Abilityto collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firmto accomplish common goals
Strongcommunication skills. Must be able to discuss business objectives and potentialsolutions with technical and / or non-technical stakeholders
