The Debt Capital Markets Solutions (DCMS) and Equity Capital Markets Solutions (ECMS) groups are global coverage initiatives responsible for creating/selling/executing all financing and derivative solutions for our clients. DCMS combines origination efforts across Debt Capital Markets, and related Interest Rate and Foreign Exchange Hedging Solutions and structured origination. ECMS focuses on the origination and execution of Initial Public Offerings, Follow-ons, Convertibles, Equity Derivatives, and pre-IPO Private Placements.
Capital Markets professionals coordinate with industry and coverage bankers to provide a single interface for all of Credit Suisse's capital markets, funding and structured products. They regularly engage with the Firm's related Research, Sales and Trading efforts to distribute these products and deliver market updates and timely mentorship back to our corporate clients.
The Summer Analyst Program is approximately 9 weeks in length and is crafted to give you unmatched exposure to several parts of the investment banking industry. The Program is for rising college seniors. As a summer program participant, you will have the opportunity to develop your analytical skills by using various financial techniques, gain hands-on experience, and interact with external clientele as well as internally across multiple divisions of the Bank. Summer Analysts receive formal feedback at the mid and end points of the summer program.
Summer Analysts are placed onto a desk within Capital Markets where there are a wide variety of opportunities to learn different segments of the business. The Debt Capital Markets team also has dedicated desks focused on Corporate Debt Derivative, Foreign Exchange Structuring and Liability Management while Equity Capital Markets Solutions also includes dedicated teams for pre-IPO private placements, Convertibles, and Corporate Equity Derivatives. - Corporate Debt Derivatives (CDD), Debt Capital Markets Solutions (DCMS), Equity Capital Markets Solutions (ECMS), Equity Linked Origination (ELO), Foreign Exchange Structuring (FX), Liability Management (LM), Private Equity Capital Markets (PECM)
You will attend a one day company orientation followed by a week of training and then start work in your group for the summer, receiving further training while on the job. Your learning experience will continue through the summer speaker series, where you'll hear from senior line representatives across the divisions. To help you determine your strengths and plan your career, Analysts are paired with both senior level and junior level mentors who will provide advice and guidance throughout the summer. You will also participate in networking events and firm-wide events that will help gain exposure to all areas within the bank and understand the big picture of a global investment bank.
