Account Executive - US Government Accounts

As part of the ECR team, you will have responsibility for driving new business sales and retaining a large book of business in the federal government sector. You will be expected to prospect for new business within all areas of the federal government.
Success in this role involves partnering with colleagues in Marketing, Product Management, Research & Analysis and Sales Operations to effectively support and strengthen your own sales initiatives. We're looking for a Sales professional who can:

  • Meet monthly new business goals
  • Provide timely and accurate insight to their pipeline leading to accurate forecasts
  • Has the confidence to represent and promote the company to senior executives both internally and externally
  • Can develop a strong understanding of the value proposition for ECR solutions as they relate to their end market
  • Inform and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to ensure they meet or exceed quota

  • Minimum of 8 years of sales experience
  • Proven excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to build effective internal and external relationships
  • Experience within selling information (research, data, consulting services) would be useful, but is not essential
  • Understanding of working with government accounts, inclusive of handling the contracting process
  • Solid presentation and proposal writing skills
  • Willingness to drive face-to-face meetings with local accounts and to travel as needed to remote clients
  • Bachelor's degree minimum
