Account Manager FO II
The Account Manager II provides comprehensive guidance to their family office clients, which will be among the largest, most complex clients in the Family Office Group, regarding family office structures, communication and education strategies to the underlying family members and best practices with particular attention to investments, accounting and reporting, tax, banking, insurance, and trust and estate needs. This requires the Account Manager II to be intimately familiar with client s constituents and interact regularly and independently with the most senior managers and advisors of the family office while overseeing all aspects of the client s relationship with BNY Mellon. Additional responsibilities include, discussing and verifying client objectives, recommending and executing appropriate structures and strategies as well as identifying opportunities to expand the relationship and increase client satisfaction. The Account Manager II will have intimate familiarity with BNY Mellon Wealth Management products and subject matter experts as well as solutions offered to institutional type clients by other business units of BNY Mellon. The Account Manager II will fully and independently analyze and evaluate client relationships, collaborate on potential new business opportunities and enhance and expand the firm s relationships with Centers of Influence within the Family Office market. In partnership with Wealth Directors, Wealth Managers, Fiduciary Specialists and Private Bankers, he/she will be responsible for developing current and future fee business. Additionally, the Account Manager II will act as a mentor to less experienced account managers to assist in their growth and development. Qualifications
The incumbent will have an undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience with 10 plus years of experience working with family offices, and has managed larger client relationships. The qualified candidate must be self-motivated and possess very strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills as this position deals directly with key clients and prospects as well as executives from external referral networks. Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience. Master's degree in business or finance preferred. At least 10 years within the Family Office space with a strong working knowledge of investments, fiduciary services, Capital Markets and broad banking services, 5 years progressive experience with BNY Mellon specific product suite. 15 years of Family Office experience preferred with 7 years progressive experience with BNY Mellon specific product suite preferred.
