The New York Finance team is responsible for the regulatory and financial reporting of the Group's New York Branch operation. Reporting is provided to the IB&M Leadership Team, Group Finance and to external stakeholders such as market regulators.

Do work that matters

The Accountant position plays a key role in supporting the New York Branch and is responsible for preparing monthly management reports, preparation of regulatory reporting, preparation of the annual financial statements for the Broker Dealer and Audit process, as well as managing the monthly accounting process for the Broker dealer.

This position will also have forecasting and budgeting tasks, assist with the taxation process and general month end accounting processes, journals, reconciliations etc.

We're interested in hearing from people who

Are Well versed with statutory accounting principles and GAAP, demonstrate practical understanding of relevant tax legislation and ideally have broad experience within an audit/accounting function of a Big 4 firm or banking background (preferably 2 years).

The role will suit a fully qualified accountant holding a professional qualification, CPA or equivalent. Good analytical skills and the ability to work independently, with a high attention to detail will also see your success in this role.
