Institutional Banking & Markets (IB&M) is responsible for the provision of products and services to corporate, institutional and government clients. This is achieved through origination, structuring and execution of on and off balance sheet products that are enhanced through the efficient application of taxation, accounting, risk and capital management technologies.

Our Client Coverage Group will be responsible for creating senior, strategic and early engagement with our clients on their business mix, capital structure and financial needs/solutions in partnership with relevant IB&M product specialists and risk and other support partners.

The Bank's Infrastructure Industry team is a leading infrastructure and Utilities finance centre of excellence, delivering value-enhancing solutions to clients through deep strategic engagement, leveraging CBA's capabilities across the capital spectrum. Our coverage comprises sophisticated counterparties experienced in complex debt and global markets financings.

The role will be responsible for delivering a sharp industry focus and overall relationship management for our highest potential existing and target clients. The role will be pivotal in leading IB&M's strategy of becoming a leading universal bank and providing clients Total Capital Solutions across their transactional, capital raising and risk management/global markets' needs.

We are looking for individuals who have strong Banking experience with a track record of originating, leading and executing transactions which utilise a broad range of the bank's capabilities including corporate finance, equity research, debt capital markets and balance sheet lending, global markets and risk management (FICC), and transactions and payments.

Experience in engaging and building credibility and strong relationships with clients at Treasurer / CFO level through developing a clear understanding on how the client perceives its own business; use this knowledge to anticipate client requirements and help clients be successful.

Sound understanding of the industry sector and the key drivers affecting the industry.

Successful track record of leveraging effective relationships to deliver against revenue and targets.
