Data Management Business Analyst - Risks New York - United States
This position is part of the Chief Operating Officer (COO) department in New York. The COO team provides transversal support to the different teams within RISQ Americas (i.e. credit, market, liquidity, enterprise, operational,..). The Data Management Specialist supports RISQ's goal to maintain a high standard of data quality and comply with the BCBS 239 principles of effective risk data aggregation and risk reporting. The Specialist's day-to-day responsibilities include the following: Define and maintain a RISQ/AME data management framework supporting data quality, governance, and standards to drive improvement across critical risk management functions Develop and maintain a roadmap to implement BCBS 239 principles within RISQ/AME Partner with the Regional Data Management Office (RDMO) in the consistent implementation of BCBS 239 standards and relevant data management tools for AMER Liaise with RISQ Data Domain Owners and consumers to identify priority data quality issues Work with RISQ Data Domain Owners and RDMO to: o Assess and identify CDEs Document accurate business metadata Assess data quality Document and maintain data lineage and controls Lead remediation efforts in coordination with specific risk management functions Manage the catalog of data quality issues and escalate priority items to relevant local and head office data management functions and committees Define data quality KPIs for priority data elements and establish data quality rules to monitor ongoing data quality Partner and align with Head Office CDO's and domain owners on resolution of BCBS 239 gaps Collaborate with technology partners to implement data strategy and remediation

Required: 7+ years in Financial Services with experience in data management initiatives Experience in systems and/or data management functions with a focus on risk management (credit, market, liquidity, etc.) or finance systems and data Experience in data quality assessment, control evaluation, root cause analysis, and remediation of data quality issues Proven experience in collaborating closely with technology partners Education
Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Systems, or business-related field Language
