Our InsightStudioteam works with clients to discover new insights by transforming data intointuitive, interactive visualizations-such as maps, charts, and dashboards-thatcan help leaders see and explore their data in new ways. We are looking for a Designer to create impactful and dynamic visualinterfaces for the next generation of InsightStudio solutions and prototypes. Work you'll do
We are looking for people who enjoy thinkingempathetically and can put themselves in our users' shoes to think aboutbusiness problems from different perspectives. As a Designer, you will work closelywith developers, data scientists, and clients to understand their challenges andproduce design solutions that help them solve their toughest problems. Thiswill involve the full design process of understanding the problem and craftinga cutting-edgedesign solution that will optimize the user experience. Contributing to thevisualization of frameworks, ideas, and new offerings and businesses, you'll participatein the definition of new concepts and the exploratory design developmentprocess. The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable collaborating withclients and various Deloitte team members to translate business requirementsand user research into functional design assets, supporting the design needs acrossclient engagements, business development efforts, and internal engagements. Thisperson should have agency or industry experience conducting user / marketresearch, facilitating user experience efforts, or creating user interfaces. Aportfolio demonstrating successful execution of UI/UX design, datavisualizations, or graphic facilitation across devices, comprehensiveunderstanding of design principles across platforms. Motivated, self-startingattitude and ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment whilebringing innovative solutions to clients' challenges, and proven ability totranslate ambiguous business challenges into actionable design solutions. •Master's degree completed by Summer 2020 in one of the following disciplines: computer science, graphic/information design, studio art, data visualization, statistics, human-computer interaction, human factors, psychology, or other related field
•Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
•Strong academic track record (preferred GPA of 3.5 or higher)
•Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch and/or Invision
•Ability to travel up to 50% Howyou'll grow
