Global Markets Trade Capture Project Manager

Responsible for working with global markets business, technology teams and customers to leverage tech and operational solutions to reduce costs, risks and enable future growth by standardizing & simplifying data model and architecture. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Principal liaison to stakeholders; managing expectations and project delivery
  • Establish project milestones & deliverables with development leads 
  • Establish governance and operating model standards & best practices (SDM)
  • Issues and risks tracking and escalation 
  • Establish and maintain documentation of platform, including technical documentation and API specifications 
  • Implement release schedules, provide criteria and execute tactics
  • Ensure project production target dates, within budget 
  • Works with analysts and SMEs to ensure Agile sprint development 
  • Ensures training materials & user guides are created ahead of production
  • Ensures project updates are reported to provide an overview all trade capture projects
  • Manage project spend tracking vs budget 
  • Support UAT team and prioritize defects with stakeholders and change teams

Key Criteria:

  • 10+ years financial industry experience with large-scale global initiatives
  • Project management experience
  • Agile development experience 
  • Experience with global teams and matrix management
  • JIRA tools for AgileStrong financial background
  • Solid understanding of derivatives: equities, commodities, swaps
  • Cash securities expertise is a plus
  • Detailed OTC derivatives trade lifecycle knowledge
  • Experience in front, middle office technology is ideal
  • Familiar with regulatory initiatives, demands and challenges, e.g., Dodd Frank, EMIR, MiFID, Volcker, SFTR
  • Excellent communication skills needed to interface with financial trade data providers, consumers & key stakeholders
  • Team player with a great interpersonal ability
