Trade Services - M3 Manages multiple Trade Services teams or a single large/specialized team responsible for providing quality support to clients with Trading transactions and processes. Provides guidance on identifying opportunities for providing quality support to clients with Trading transactions and processes. Teams are typically servicing global, complex clients. Responsible for the management of investment holdings data across risk, performance and other reporting systems. Manages teams responsible for maintenance of data organization and integrity as it relates to trade execution and commission management during the trade cycle. Works with large and/or complex trading clients to communicate issues and information. Provides strategy direction for streamlining and optimization of processes for teams. Ensures integration with client groups. Develops strategies to minimize breaks between bank and client and between traders and back office teams. Applies in-depth knowledge and expertise of all product offerings and vendor requirements. Responsible for development of inter-departmental integration of transaction related requirements, ensuring delivery and quality standards. Responsible for collaborating on the development of policies and standards for organizational requirements for compliance. Liaises and strategizes with peer leaders in Trading to ensure effective trading execution coordination throughout the firm. Responsible for multiple team integration for work and personnel allocation. Serves as an escalation point for critical service issues or roadblocks. Shepherds issues through to resolution. Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. Provides feedback at the most critical times. Manages multiple Trade Services teams or a single large or specialized team. Responsible for achievement of team goals. Ensures team is equipped to operationalize and attain team objectives.
Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred. 7-10 years of total work experience with at least 1-3 years in management preferred. Experience in financial investments preferred.Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
The preferred candidate will possess knowledge of Capital Markets trading activity and have experience working in a Broker Dealer. Knowledge in Treasuries, Agencies, Mortgage Backed Securities, Credit, Corporates is important. Not only will the incumbent know fixed income products, he or she needs to understand the self clearing model and settlements, can implement procedures or change processes to make more efficient, can multi task and make their way around an organization independently. He or she will be involved in the day to day oversight and will address the larger issues as needed. Knowledge around Tradeblazer and Bloomberg TOMS is a plus.
