I'm working with one of my favourite hedge funds to find an Operations candidate. The hedge fund has a forward-thinking culture and are championing the 100 black interns initiative. This is a fund which trades off volatility, so trading volumes are high; they have weathered the pandemic very well and are consequently growing headcount.
You will perform daily/weekly/monthly reconciliations between the funds own proprietary system and that of their administrators and daily reconciliations against the funds counterparts on both listed and OTC accounts. You will liaise with the front and middle office to help resolve top day and T+1 P&L issues and work with other teams on the launch of new accounts/strategies/funds You must lead process improvements -- recognize inefficiencies or gaps, recommend improvements and help implement new processes.
In order to be considered for this role you must come from a high-volume trading environment in either a top tier bank or another hedge fund. You will have in-depth product knowledge in OTC derivatives, and you will have a numerical degree. This is a mid-level role so we're looking for someone between 3-5 years' experience.
