What will you contribute?
You will be responsible for developing new business with a high closing rate, in a defined territory for our market leading solutions focusing on Treasury and Capital Markets clients.
- Working with a payment division of 22 other staff, you will be responsible for helping to create a new group, focusing on new business development and having an input on the hiring of new staff for this team.
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Your deliverables as a Payments Sales Head will include, but are not limited to, the following:
-Engage with existing clients and interal teams and build fundamental account plans, operational strategy, and drive activity.
-Generate leads through cold-calling, leveraging existing network, and various other prospecting techniques.
-Determine qualified leads through evaluation of prospect requirements and development of a concise understanding of prospects’ decision-making processes and criteria.
-Development of relationships with decision-influencing, senior executives within prospect organizations.
-Move opportunities along our sales process.
-Manage forecasting of deals and resources needed to close and win new business.
-Manage a team that will grow to around 10 members and help them fulfil their potential
Experience:
-Track record of consistently exceeding annual quota targets in treasury related sales.
-A Clear understanding of the nuances and dynamics involved in selling enterprise software licenses.
-No knowledge of payments necessary, but must be a good sales leader with an in depth knowledge of the FS space
-5-10 years of management experience. Less acceptable if attained through promotion
-Extensive contacts within medium sized US banks (5bn to 50bn)
-Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA a plus.
