Global Equities Electronic Trading COO / PMO
Team Overview:

  • The team's core responsibility is to provide Business Analysis, Project Management and COO coverage for the Equities Electronic Trading Technology (ETT) development organization. We cover the ETT core trading applications, risk validation technology, and supporting applications. The ETT group supports both internal and external clients for Equities, Options, and Futures trade flows. The open position will work as a partner across technology management, business management and all control partners to support the global ETT COO functions.

Job Overview:
  • The Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) ETT PM / BA will assist in building and managing a global portfolio of development programs across multiple technology groups in support of the Electronic Trading line of business.
  • Business Analysis responsibilities require:
    • Development of strong relationships with the core stakeholders including product management and numerous technology teams
    • Documentation of business requirements and platform strategy
    • Understanding of Equities Electronic Trading Technologies and market structure
  • Program Management responsibilities require:
    • Execution of processes and procedures for program governance and delivery
    • Coordinating with stakeholder organizations (Compliance, Legal, Information Security, Vendor Management) to support the build and adoption of new technologies
    • Financial management routines for a global development organization
This role will be primary located in Midtown Manhattan, NY

Skill Set / Experience:
• A highly self-motivated individual possessing a detail oriented focus on full scope delivery is required.
• Strong team building skills are required to effectively complete large projects with multiple diverse dependencies.
• Clear, concise, and effective communication is a must.
• Tolerance for a fast paced environment involving support of production trading applications is required.
• Background in Electronic Trading technology.
• Business analysis with expertise in risk management, system design, and process design.
• Strong knowledge of the life-cycle of a trade (From order entry through execution and booking/clearing).
• Experience in agile development and scrum master roles is beneficial.
