Senior Analyst E-Communications Surveillance Compliance & Control

JobDescription :
The Senior Analyst in the Control room will be responsible for supervising and driving the effectiveness of the Global electronic communications-monitoring program. A person in this position will play an instrumental role in the execution of on-boarding a new e-communications surveillance platform as well as direct a team of analyst that conduct the first line of review.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Drive the enhancement and improvement of the e-communications surveillance program from an effectiveness and efficiency standpoint
  • Draft and maintain policies and procedures in relation to the e-communications surveillance program
  • Work with IT and the vendor on improvements and technical issue troubleshooting and critical issues
  • Lead and analyze raised matters in order to provide valuable feedback and advance to the next level of review, where necessary
  • Handle the preparation of key reporting metrics and trends for reporting to senior management that may warrant further consideration or action
  • Work closely with line of business supervisors and compliance colleagues to escalate and follow up on potential violations as well as continually improve the surveillance program

  • Ability to exercise good judgement and intensify issues appropriately
  • Ability to lead meaningful priorities
  • Established knowledge of credit markets as well as financial regulation

Minimum Requirements:
  • Undergraduate Degree
  • 3 years plus of industry experience in trade or communication surveillance in the financial services or other regulated industries.
  • Previous experience in implementing, improving and/or using e-communications surveillance systems
  • Working knowledge of Data Privacy Laws on a global basis
