Job Description
As businesses grow and become more complex, they navigate complicated transactions. Our growing Advisory Transaction Services practice helps executives achieve strategic growth objectives for their organizations by driving informed and empowered acquisition, divestiture and reorganization decisions. Our transaction services professionals help companies across the deal continuum
developing the right strategy, identifying issues and points of negotiation and value, executing the deal seamlessly, and implementing changes to deliver synergies and improvements post integration.

Our Business Recovery Services consultants help restore business performance for distressed companies.

This high performing team advises clients in the areas of restructuring and distressed investing.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 5

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree

Certification(s) Required: CPA or CA license required
- or similar international designation

Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates proven extensive knowledge and success in a role managing accounting issues related to purchase accounting, divestitures, or other capital market transactions. Knowledge of the accounting for troubled debt restructuring or fresh start accounting preferred.

Demonstrates proven willingness to conduct business travel, as required, for client assignments or other business-related matters.

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates proven extensive abilities and success managing a wide range of projects related to financial underperformance, consistently demonstrating creative thinking and individual initiative, including the following:

- Delivering high-quality client services-oriented reorganization accounting services, leveraging relevant accounting principles;

- Participating in managing client relationships and client service;

- Understanding the changes in accounting pre, during and post-bankruptcy;

- Analyzing complex accounting structures, financial statements, and deconstructions of integrated financial models; and,

- Understanding the allowable scope of services for reorganization for audit and non-audit clients.

Demonstrates proven extensive abilities and success as a team member:

- Understanding personal and team roles;

- Contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members;

- Proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback;

- Delivering presentations on the spectrum of services to potential clients;

- Approaching the client in an organized manner;

- Delivering clear requests for information;

- Demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks;

- Communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor.
