U.S. Bank Regulatory Attorney VP # 107846
Credit Suisse is seeking an attorney who will be part of our U.S. Bank Regulatory team.
Core responsibilities will include but not be limited to p roviding U.S. bank regulatory advice to Credit Suisse's businesses and entities in connection with all aspects of Credit Suisse's operations, with particular focus on post-crisis 'too-big-to-fail' and capital regulations. The incumbent can be based in either Raleigh, NC or Manhattan, NY.
8-10+ years of legal experience with a large corporation, law firm, government agency or court.
Strong working knowledge of existing and new banking regulations including the Dodd-Frank Act, Bank Holding Company Act, Federal Reserve's regulations K, Q, Y, W, YY and resolution plan regulations, New York Banking Law and DFS regulations, OCC regulations and interpretations, and Financial Stability Board and Basel Committee standards.
Must have excellent analytical and advocacy skills as well as the ability to speak and write clearly, and interact with business and legal colleagues in a creative, collaborative and productive manner.
Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
Self-starter, capacity and willingness to take on multiple responsibilities.
Transactional experience a plus.
Attorney must be licensed to practice law and a member in good standing in in the states of New York or North Carolina.
