Step into an instrumental role. Help conduct the smooth operation of a fast-paced-and friendly practice with a focus on financial planning and investment management for high net worth individuals. Work as an employee of an independent advisor franchisee with The Henry Group a Private Wealth Advisory Practice of Ameriprise Financial. The licensed paraplanner will assist the practice in the financial planning and investment management process. This position will consistently follow high standards of business and professional ethics and legal and regulatory requirements when dealing with others and/or performing work activities. Responsibilities
Investment Management/Financial Planning/ Advice and Product Solutions
-Conduct Investment Research to assist in the construction and management of client portfolios through third party research and our proprietary process. The research will include the analysis of domestic and international data as it relates to fiscal and monetary policy, geo-political developments, currency risk, market and business risk.
-Monitor and implement discretionary trading models
-Oversee and Implement Portfolio Rebalancing and Managed Account Deliverables.
-Oversee and Implement Retirement Income Distributions
-Prepare preliminary financial planning recommendations and initial product solutions for advisor review and use in client meetings
-Prepare charts, graphs, tables and other visual aids to be used in implementation meetings with clients
-Develop portfolio/robust product solution recommendations that will fit the client's risk tolerance and time frame as well as develop appropriate product deliverables.
-Maintain client profile and suitability
-Track and maintain money movement requests to include rollovers and custodial transfers
-Manage and track practice goals and progress.
-Prepare new business forms and client service forms as needed.
20%Client Care / Business Management
-Maintain client contact during the financial planning process. Answer questions and provide readily available information to clients, if requested and as allowable, as it relates to servicing their accounts
-Review and update client information as needed for client review meetings. Attend and participate in client meetings if necessary.
-Manage and resolve client service problems
-Perform other allowable duties as assigned by the financial advisor(s) Required Qualifications Required Qualifications:
