Position Description:

PIMCO is seeking a Marketing Associate to support our Global Wealth Management (GWM) and Institutional businesses. If you are results-oriented, have outstanding project management skills, and thrive in a fast paced environment, we want to hear from you!

You will have a dual reporting relationships into the Intermediary Marketing and Marketing Operations functions, and will collaborate with colleagues across our global Marketing organization.

In this role, you will focus on partnering with colleagues within marketing to execute on the needs of the GWM and Institutional businesses. Your responsibilities will include project management and execution of deliverables, including Strategic Partner firm approvals for materials, collateral updates, and client reporting. Additional responsibilities include:
  • Owning the development and maintenance of global monthly and quarterly communications (e.g., fact sheets, monthly commentaries, etc.) as well as campaign collateral development
  • Managing project roadmaps and priorities based on requirements and tight deadlines
  • Acquiring approvals of all marketing material to be used at key Strategic Partner firms for GWM
  • Gathering and analyzing metrics for all marketing-related activities, preparing reports for key partners, and making recommendations based on findings

This role may be based in our Austin, TX or Newport Beach, CA offices.

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
  • 3-5 years of confirmed experience in marketing, financial services industry background preferred
  • Outstanding project management and organizational skills, including the ability to work under tight deadlines and lead multiple projects simultaneously
  • Independent problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with the entire Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent relationship-building and teamwork skills
  • Proven record in implementing projects, delivering above average results in a high quality manner
  • Excellent interpersonal skills at all organizational levels, strong communication and presentation skills
